Why Interventional Pain Procedures Matter
Our clinic specializes in minimally invasive, targeted procedural testing and treatments, designed to accurately diagnose and treat pain at its source. Interventional pain procedures—including nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, regenerative treatments, including PRP, and more—not only provide your clients with the opportunity for true functional recovery but also generate objective findings and prima facie diagnoses that go beyond subjective pain complaints.
A Seamless Collaborative Approach
We offer a streamlined referral process, timely inter-provider communication, and coordinated care plans designed to integrate benefit, minimize delays and maximize efficiency. Our multidisciplinary teams work together to address not only pain, but also associated, psychologic, neurological and functional impairments, ensuring your clients receive individualized wholistic treatment and that every aspect of their injury is properly evaluated and reported.
Enhancing Case Value and Documentation
We recognize that insurance carriers and defense counsel increasingly demand objective medical evidence when evaluating claims. By utilizing appropriate, timely, and precise best practice interventional pain procedures, our team produces clear, quantifiable data that can substantiate your clients' injuries, document the necessity of ongoing and future care needs, and reinforce the legitimacy and severity of their claims. This robust medical documentation often results in better outcomes for all.

INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT

INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT
Pain Management Specialist are divided into 2 categories.
• Interventional Pain Management (IPM) and Non-interventional Pain Management. It is important to know the differences in focus, protocol and expertise of these two types of physicians.
• Non-interventional options are limited to conservative measures and medications.
• Interventional pain medicine specialists (IPM), on the other hand, have a unique understanding to recommend, perform and interpret the specialized tests used in diagnosing painful spinal conditions, as well as recommending, performing, and interpreting the specialized non-surgical Interventional treatments available to keep pain away.
• This approach has been proven more effective than turning to strong pharmaceuticals (such as opioids), or even worse, the commonly seen practice of downplaying, ignoring, or dismissing pain suffering.
• With an increasing number of new and complex techniques, and technologies becoming available every year for the treatment of pain, the Interventional Pain Management physician is uniquely positioned and trained to use and apply this new knowledge safely and effectively to help his or her patients.
